March 21-23 – Reveille Peak Bike Festival

Reveille Peak Bike Festival logoRichardson Bike Mart, Terra Firma Racing and Reveille Peak Ranch host the inaugural Reveille Peak Bike Festival and Expo on March 21-23, 2014.

The Festival

This will be a family-friendly event where participants of all ages and different skill level are welcome. Activities will include:

  • NiteRider Technical Lighting Systems night light demos and rides Friday and Saturday nights
  • Bicycle demos from Specialized, Scott, and Felt all weekend long!
  • Gran Fondo (50K) or Medio Fondo (25K) mountain bike rides starting Saturday at 9 am
  • Bicycle Sport Shop children’s rides and clinics
  • MTB and pump track skills clinics
  • An Expo area
  • Bicycle games
  • National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) MTB race Sunday
  • Kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (SUP)
  • Fishing
  • and MORE!

SATURDAY

7am – Breakfast Starts
9am – Gran & Medio Fondos
10am – Pump Track Clinic
Noon – Lunch
RBMX will be at the pump track all day. Stop by and ride!
1pm – Orange Seal Tubeless Clinic
2pm – Children’s Ride & Pump Track Clinic (12 and under)
4pm – Rock Garden Ride
6-8pm – Dinner
7:30pm – NiteRider Night Light Demo and Ride

SUNDAY

Upper Trails will be open to ride all day!
Enter at the pole gates.
7am – Breakfast Starts
10am – Cheer on the Texas High School Mountain Bike League Race!
Noon – Lunch

Food!

Participants will have the option to provide their own food, or buy food from the on-site caterer.

Give Back!

A portion of he proceeds from the event will be donated to National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) which “helps develop high school mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States.”

Onsite Camping!

The Ranch has on-site camping (RV hook ups with water and electricity and over 250 primitive camping sites), men’s and women’s restrooms with showers, a spring-fed lake, and plenty of parking. You must be registered for the Festival to camp. Well-behaved dogs on leashes allowed except in the pavilion/food areas. Small campfires allowed – bring your own wood. RVs, pop-up campers and travel trailers welcomed but there will be no hook ups of any kind – electric, water or disposal.

Note: All guests arriving to camp after 7pm on Friday or Saturday must register online and email andrea@rprtexas.com of your arrival time.

Pricing

$50 – General Admittance (this is for all 3 days of the festival); includes tent camping and gate fee! (you must pre-register to camp)
$30 – Saturday Only Festival Entry
$10 – Gran Fondo Entry (includes Pint Glass)
Children 12 and under are free!
Half-price admittance for Texas High School Mountain Bike Racing league members participating in the March 23 race

 

All group rides and demo rides are included in entry fee. Gran Fondo is extra.

 

NOTE: RPR will be closed for day riders and camping March 21, 22 and 23 unless you are registered for the Reveille Peak Bike Festival or the Texas High School Mountain Bike Race.

    I would like to bring my family. Is their family pricing? Kids free? My wife wouldn’t even bring a bike.

    What are the additional fees for a small camper (electric/water)?
