May 18-19 – Texas Spartan Sprint

We are thrilled to welcome back the Texas Spartan Sprint to Reveille Peak Ranch May 18-19! Spartan is the world’s leading obstacle race series, and Spartan Sprints are muddy 3+- mile events with mud runs, trail racing, physical/mental challenges and 10 or more insane obstacles. REGISTER HERE

Want a front row seat to all the Spartan action? Spectator tickets are available for $20 online, or purchase them onsite for $25 (please bring cash). As a Spartan Race spectator, you’ll receive $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, entry to the rocking festival area, a festival grounds map, access to some of the obstacles on course, not to mention the epic Gladiator pit and finish line. Enjoy the music and watch your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the relative safety and comfort of the Spartan Race festival grounds! You can also test your fitness in the festival challenges including the Pull-Up Challenge, Slosh Pipe Challenge, Kaiser Challenge and Traverse Wall Challenge.


Primitive camping is available at Reveille Peak Ranch; RESERVE HERE. Shuttles will be provided from the remote parking lot to the camping area. No campsite gear drop-offs! Note: due to continued drought conditions in Burnet County, campsite fires will not be permitted.

RV camping (no electric/water hookups) is located adjacent to the remote parking lot. If campers are not racing, they must register and pay onsite as spectators.

- Camp the weekend! $20 flat rate per person, Friday and Saturday nights (same rate for one or both nights, for racers and non-racers)

- Race registrants who are RPR Season Pass holders get free camping! Learn about season pass here


Campers may check in at the main camping registration tent starting at 6:00pm Friday, May 17. Only people with camping permits will be allowed to access the camping area. Note there is no car load in for campsites; please pack only what you can carry on the shuttle bus to the campsite! There will be port-a-potties and hand washing stations near the camping area. Note: due to continued drought conditions in Burnet County, campsite fires will not be allowed.


Frank’s of Austin will be selling food onsite.


Jr. Spartan | 0.5 miles
Varsity Spartan | 1 mile

Spartan Race is not only limited to adult fun! Bring the kids ages 4-13 who can participate in their very own Jr. Spartan race. They will enjoy the thrill of the run, a variety of scaled down obstacles and their own mini festival area filled with games and children’s challenges! Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for fitness at an early age.

The course is about a 1⁄2 mile filled with junior obstacles for Jr. Spartans and 1 mile for Varsity Spartans. Each child will receive a T-shirt and Finisher’s Medal with 100% of the Jr. Spartan Adventure proceeds benefiting the Kids Fit Foundation.

As a leader in the movement to help children learn life-long health and fitness habits, the Kids Fit Foundation strives to raise awareness and develop programs that educate, empower and inspire kids to become and stay fit.

Spartan Kids’ heats go off between 12pm and 1pm on Saturday, May 18.

Note to RPR day pass users: RPR will be CLOSED on Friday, May 17 for Spartan set up. Trails will be OPEN to mountain bikers, trail runners and scuba groups on May 18-19. Enter and check-in at the Quarry gate entrance. Directions: from RPR main gate, continue on CR 114 for 1/2 mile and turn left on the first paved road (CR 115), go 1-1/2 mi, turn left at RPR sign and find Jon Holmes for check-in.
