The first of the series will be held March 17th, 2012 (St. Patty’s Day!) at Reveille Peak Ranch starting at 10 am.

The race includes:

10-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible in 10 minutes) of:

10 Box Jumps
10 Push Ups (Hand Release)
15 Squats

PLUS:

5k trail run for RUNNERS

OR

10-12K mountain bike course for MOUNTAIN BIKERS

THEN:

100 Kettle Bell Swings to finish

Time stops when you cross the finish line!

Stick around to grab a catered meal, a shower, a beer if you’re over 21—ALL right here at the Ranch. And if you’re up for it, bring your camping gear and stick around for the night.

25% of all gross proceeds help UltiFit support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

“We cherish the opportunity to contribute to this important organization. Having served multiple tours in Iraq as a Navy EOD technician, we know how much our wounded veterans need our support. This is not only a chance to compete with athletes of all levels, but to support a great cause as well.” —Ådam Painter, UltiFit Challenge founder

Looks like a great event. What is the weight of the KB’s and how high is the box? Also, air squats or weighted?
