UPDATE: The opening race of the Texas High School Mountain Bike Series scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled due to heavy rain and cold weather.
“This decision was made with the safety of the student athletes in mind, as well as the integrity of the trail system at our venue. Individuals that have already paid for their race may choose between a full refund of their race fees or to apply it to another race this season (more information on this coming soon). The first race of the 2012 Texas League series will be held on March 25th. We have not yet determined if we will add a fourth race to the end of the 2012 series,” says Vance McMurry, executive director of the league.

I’m curious to know what time the race starts on March 11th. Also, is there a fee for spectators?
I have always enjoyed my visit to your ranch. And to see you starting a new leage for kids in school is awsome. I was just telling someone I went to school with that I had no invalvment with school because none of the sports interested me. But if we had wrestleing, biking or Tea Kwon Do they would have had me. I have spent the last fifteen years biking and ten years before that in tea kwon do. So keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.
